In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, Villasis Law Center (VLC) made history as the pioneer review center to offer FREE ONLINE LECTURES via Facebook Live and later on via YouTube Live. These lectures were designed to support VLC Warriors—law students, bar candidates, and both legal & non-legal professionals within and beyond the metro area, particularly those lacking access to essential study materials. The VLC free online lecture series served as a beacon of hope, providing a virtual library of accessible videos and resources for legal education.

Building upon VLC’s remarkable journey, which began in 2015 as a modest law office before expanding into a leading Bar review provider, these free online lectures represent a testament to the center’s commitment to excellence and innovation. Under the leadership of Assoc. Dean Christian ‘Kit’ G. Villasis, founder and review director, VLC has consistently produced successful examinees and bar topnotchers for seven consecutive years. Recognizing the evolving needs of law students, VLC transformed into a specialized Law Review Center. It focuses on preparing aspiring lawyers for the Bar Examinations.

With previous free lectures drawing as high as 5000 concurrent viewers, VLC’s digital initiatives have reached far and wide, making a significant impact on the legal education landscape. These online resources have played a crucial role in helping numerous examinees successfully pass, further solidifying VLC’s reputation as a trusted institution in the legal field.

As VLC marks its fourth year of offering free online lectures, it continues to uphold its legacy of excellence and innovation. By providing accessible resources and fostering a sense of community among VLC Warriors, the center believes in the collective strength of its students.
